For a start you can walk to places instead of taking the car. Cycling is fun. Yoga yes that's a good idea. Stretches. Dancing, or dance classes. Sport and running. Just because you live in a high rise apartment doesn't mean you can't find somewhere to run or cyle or join a dance class or join a sports team!
Hope I help!

It's a little pricey, but for the personal trainer sessions, you should definitely be getting what you pay for. I'd say go for it! Good luck!

You can buy a punching bag do train on and free weights (they are the best and not that expensive) with a power rack (great for doing Bench Press as well as Squat and other exercises).
Here's a good book I found on Amazon for beginner boxers: http://www.amazon.ca/Boxers-Start-Up-Beginners-Guide-Boxing/dp/1884654096
Go to YouTube and type in ''boxing'' and you can watch videos of boxing fights and see how the pros fight. Here's one I just found: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03lyYu39BPs

To build a dream home, the financial cost is zero. Zip. Nothing but some invaluable time to dream.
The dream home is the only home that has no defects, no mortgage, no insurnace cost, no taxes, no lot cost, no monthly utility cost, no heating, ventilation, air conditioning cost.
The dream home is adaptable globally to any location, any person, any financial group, any society, any family size, multiple family units, single family units, rich, poor, talented, skill inhibited.
The dream home is not limited to lot size, lot configuration, esthetic value, nor structural integrity. Neither rain, snow, sunshine, storm, nor adversity affects the comfort of a dream home.
The dream home has no black mold concern, propagates no viruses, no moisture concern, no radiation concern, no cancer causing carcinogerants, no VOC, no insulation concern.
When coming to fruition, the previous dream home is more often a night mare than any resemblance of the previous pleasant dream. The interest rate escalates. Local taxes sky rocket. The mailperson gets bit by the friendly family pet. Some national EPA law is passed to virtually eliminate the construction site. Federally protected remains of a rare extinct insect is observed beneath the kitchen floor. The construction contractor stays inhibited with moon shine rather than working while the sun shines. The entire area is reclassified as being a flood plain. No insurance and no home loan is available in said floodplain locations.
And worse of all, a search of the entire area is unable to locate a local corn farm or biomass supply of wood to provide low cost affordable wood or whole kernel shelled corn for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and off-grid electrical generation.

Start with simple exercises such as push ups, sit ups, leg lifts, and the stretches you do before a game (they help). For conditioning, start running around your neighborhood or at a track (you could even take a basketball and work on dribbling). Don't forget to work on your bball skills… it improves your game and is great conditioning.

I support this, but it is no new idea.

I would recommend a more than light fitness routine, really push yourself hard on that, because you won't be tired by the time he comes back if you get lots of sleep (about 8 hours a night). I wouldn't call it a diet – eat lots of vegetables and fruit, lean meat and brown rice and pasta, and eat enough to keep you satisfied. Keep all chocolate, crisps and the like out of the house to stop you snacking. Drink 8 glasses of water throughout the day, this will also help make you feel full.
Go to a spray on tanning salon (but DON'T use beds, they're dangerous!), do yourself a manicure and a pedicure, start looking after your skin well by exfoliating and lavishly moisturising. Get a bikini wax if you want!
Have fun!
